At the Environmental Health & Allergy Center (EHAC), we understand that insurance coverage—especially for out-of-network care—can be confusing. Our goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and empowered when it comes to your healthcare and financial decisions.
Dr. Sultan is an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies and has opted out of Medicare and Medicaid.
Why We Are Out-of-Network
To fully practice functional and environmental medicine, we’ve chosen to remain out-of-network with all insurance plans.
This allows us to:

- Perform comprehensive root-cause evaluations using advanced testing
- Offer a wider range of personalized therapies
In-network care models often restrict appointment length and limit coverage for integrative approaches. Our model prioritizes depth, flexibility, and whole-person care.
What This Means for You
- You may still be reimbursed: If you have a PPO or similar plan with out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement.
- We handle the paperwork: Our office will submit claims to your insurance on your behalf. Reimbursements go directly to you.
- Payment is due at time of service: We require payment at your appointment, but we offer payment plan options for all patients.
