DEDICATED TO FINDING THE CAUSE

"Environmental Health and Allergy Center - St. Louis is dedicated to Finding the Cause of Illness and Treating that Cause -- rather than covering the symptoms with drugs. Tipu Sultan, MD has been practicing environmental allergy and preventive medicine in the metropolitan St. Louis area since 1979. He has brought to this area the latest and most advanced methods in the diagnosis of causes and treatment of chronic illness. His message is very basic: Find the cause and treat the cause. For all practical purposes, drugs just cover up the symptoms and do nothing to the underlying cause(s). This is how the sick get sicker. In fact, many illnesses simply do not clear up because the underlying cause(s) has not been addressed. He made this astounding discovery a decade after his graduation from medical school when he was afflicted with intractable asthma. At that time, there seemed to be no hope but to be heavily dependent on several breathing medicines and suffer their side effects. Many patients with chronic illness can get well and remain well, and reduce dependence on drugs -- often tremendously. Allen Magnard, an influential health economist at the University of York, commented, "Medical care should be judged by the outcomes that are achieved. The objective should be to make real improvement in the lives of the greatest possible number of patients." Dr. Sultan's practice is all about that -- an approach that is truly an effective alternative to drugs and is becoming slowly, but surely, the way medicine should be practiced.

Please judge for yourself if such an approach is making a difference in the life of many or not.  Please click here to read what patients are saying about this.
