Headaches

Back

They are commonplace in today's fast-paced society and may be treated with aspirin. However, a more serious chronic type of headache is called a migraine and can have a debilitating effect on an individual's life, and women are more susceptible. The symptoms of a migraine include severe shooting pain, often behind the eyes. Migraines are caused by swelling and spasm of the blood vessels in the brain. It is widely believed that many migraines are triggered by an individual's diet, such as a drop in blood sugar levels after periods of fasting. Also allergies to certain foods or food additives, chemical fumes, mold, dust or other airborne irritants are believed to be a major factor in migraines. Traditionally, treatments have been directed at relieving the pain with aspirin or other drugs which may cause serious side effects - ulcers and stomach bleeding. If allergens are the cause, the trigger for the headache must be found and treated - not just covered up with drugs.

It is amazing to see that even the most sever forms of headaches would improve when triggers are found and treated.  Please review the following success stories and case studies and determine for yourself what treatment plan is correct for you: Treat the triggers or treat the symptoms.
